Our consultancy services provide a joined up approach to developing and implementing supply chain strategies.

Services

Our services focus on strategy development and implementation in three areas; Process, Organisation and Technology.

Process management and improvement is the key driver for business. Understanding the relationships between key processes within a business and the dynamic that exists between process, people and technology from one end of the supply chain to the other is key to developing a joined up approach.

However, this is only part of the picture as most processes now depend on third party inputs that span traditional organisational boundaries. How organisations manage these interfaces is now as important as what goes on inside the four walls of a business.

Resources, assets and behaviours need to be fully aligned to support key processes. Relationships within and between organisations and different stakeholders must be managed. This will be the defining critical success factor for any supply chain.

Technology is the key enabler in the 21st century supply chain if it is implemented and utilised properly. Failure to recognise key process and organisation issues can mean in many cases that this investment is sub-optimal. Many organisations are frustrated by poor technology implementation and frequently cite that software or hardware implementations are a failure. Investment and technology must reflect the dynamics within a business and as a minimum provide better information to make more informed decisions.
